Hi All.

Ok, IM app's is all over the place, but I can't seem to find any that works with the T610. Does anybody know one that does?

The initial T610 seem to miss RAW Socket support, and that might be the problem, but if you find something that work, let us all know...

TIA.

you're right dude, T610 does not have sockets as its not using Java version 2. its using version 1. so i guess either we wait for the future firmware release which might upgrade the Java to version 2, or probably pray that some genius come out with ICQ that does not require Java socket, might be mophun or something?

"as its not using Java version 2. its using version 1"

Ahh, no mobile device use Java2, they all use Mobile Java, called MIDP 1.0.

The T610 just seem to miss Socket support, so the ICQ/IM stuff needs to run over http... strange, should be possible to just make a IM connection on port 80...

Edit, just saw the MIDP 2.0 is out... but is anyone using it yet? I know the P800 is not, and MobICQ is running on that...
