I read in the manual you can play it against another P800 user.. Yet i cannot see how this is done from that Chess game given with the P800.
i would like to play chess against my partner who also has a P800... do we have to hook up via bluetooth?? and how??
can someone pls assist with any info.. |

Click on Edit and Help - it gives you a full tutorial of how to play against another play via SMS. |

does seem daft that you can't play over bluetooth
not really a hard thing to implement either, would just work the same way you send business cards etc....

But if you played over bluetooth, how would the network operator make any money out of it (assuming its be designed without bluetooth) ? |

why would se give a fuck about network operators' profits? they have enough trouble maximising their own profits

Maybe I am wrong, but network operators do subsidise a large volume of the phones that are manufactured. Why did SE not put bluetooth into the chess game? It probably would've been just as easy as it would to do SMS.
