tracker really drains battery, ive removed my tracker already.. I, as a student, dont know what its used for, i cant conceive the point why everyone is so hot about it.. I am better off with the application list rather than the tracker's shortcut keys... and about the closing running apps, i'd rather have sman, than the one on tracker... and about tracker 2.0 where its got the today view, i'd rather have active desk... but hey, that's just me.... |

never had any problems with Tracker, battery consumption stays at the same levels as before.
I suppose u answered your own question why Tracker is so popular among p800 users. It does the job of Sman, ActiveDesk, HandyDay, all in one little program.
oh... what's the connection of tracker and being a student? duh... |

I have experienced Tracker draining the battery rapidly as well. I tested between Handy Day, even though I like Tracker's Today View I have switched back to Handy Day because of this.
I tested twice and made sure all applications were closed and still tracker drained the battery significally quicker then Handy Day.

mkouk, just got it a little scrambled, the student thing, it was for the today view.. hi skul students dont really need it, because they dont really use the calendar function, the only thing students do everyday is go to skul and other unimportant things that need not be on the calendar... i prefer jotting assignments on paper, it sucks having to bring out ur phone to just write ur assignments......... and no, i did not answer my own question, because i posted this topic mainly bcos i want to tell everyone that tracker rily drains batt, which i dont think goes the same with active desk... ... but all in all tracker is a great app, just that i dont think its worthy of all the praises and recognition the public has been giving it.. but then again that's just my opinion ... |

with the same philosophy i could argue that a student doesn't need a P800 in the first place, but i'm not because i am a student too. |
