Are these files of any use or are they just left over installation temp files consuming precious internal space? When I try to run one I get "Installation file is corrupt" and if I try again, the file disappears. I deleted some and then ran the applications and everything seemed to work fine! I guess they're just the files that are copied to the phone when I install from my computer....

SO, anyone messed around with this before, can I just delete all these files with no consequences?

I think if you delete them you will not have the option to uninstall the program you have installed on your phone. You would have to do a master reset to get rid of everything.

You're right! Now I can't uninstall the ones I deleted. I'll try to reinstall them, that should return the .sis files...or not.

No Idea if they come back or not, i didn't try that! I did a master reset as I was playing around deleting files and broke a few more things

let me know how you get on!

I reinstalled an app and the .sis file came back and I can uninstall it...but I believe I now have a double copy as my memory is down! Not good as this was just a small app.

What pisses me off is that for some I didn't choose to delete, they just disappeared. Well, now we know not to delete .sis files
