has anyone here tried to or has terminated their existing postpaid line under contract without paying their 10k fee?

i'd like to switch to addict but i can't afford to maintain two plans at the same time...

i know i'd be blacklisted for doing this...

yup you'll get blacklisted and will receive demand letters from their lawyers... but i think hanggang dun lang coz i think it will be more expensive to file the case in court just to collect P10000 from you hehe

Theoreticaly you could be held liable for you signed a contract with them. Realisticaly, all you get are demand letters. Just write them back that you are not satisfied with their service and has done you more damage than the Php 10,000 that they are asking for.

i once asked globe to temporarily disconnect my line after my simcard got lost, but upon its reconnection after one month, the bill reflected that it ate up the one month advance that i initially paid to them. then again i have to pay for another month advance rate.

what do i do now to have it permanently disconnected without my asf being consumed and my bills piling up.

im planning to get my reservation for T610 at addict for the price of 10k plan 1335.

what if a phone came in with the plan? if i plan to pre-terminate the line will i have to surrender the unit? when my reason is "not satisfied with their service."

as far as i know, the pre-termination fee covers the payment of the unit and other fees. the phone then, is definitely yours..

saying with experience, yup! if you dont pay your bills, demand letters will be sent, panakot lang. pero of course, alamin mo kung ano ang dapat mong bayaran at bayaran mo ito. kung sa tingin mo ay sobra ang sinisingil nila sa iyo, wag ka mahiyang ipaalam sa kanila ito. COMPROMISE ang tamang word para dito. gaya ko, nagrereklamo ako sa digitel, sky cable, atbp. kung nakikita ko na parang di ko naman yata napapakinabangan yung binabayad ko sa kanila. and they gave me credit adjustments.
kailangan lang alamin mo ang rights mo as a consumer and stand by it. defend yourself, malay mo pakinggan ka rin nila at sumunod sa gusto mong mangyari. remember, wala silang negosyo kung wala ka, ikaw na bumibili ng serbisyo nila.
