OK I understand if you don't own a t68 but if you do WHY they are the same exact phone, don't you think you are wasting a little money and could be saving that 500 Euro for a phone like the p800 or whatever. ??confussed??

I'll be getting the T68i and I'll sell my T68m, cos I can sell it for a good price and I'll be able to buy my T68i with the same money! The gold one doesn't exist here, hihi! I'll then have the FIRST phone with MMS and all that rubbish and I think it looks nice...

Just to get the feat first you would sell you phone, ok I guess hehe but gosh people are really unpatient, I like the t68i but it just doesn't appel me too much I rather hold a gold t68 in my hand instead of a toy lookalike t68i, sorry but it looks like a toy, Well that is nice to hear that SE marketing strategy worked @ it's perfection make an exact same phone change the casing and everyone will want one hehe.
Later m8z

It's just everyone is saying that the T68i is better and I can get it for practically the same price as selling my phone, so I'll have a BRAND new phone, instead of a 3 month old one... Wouldn't you do the same??? I suppose I could always change the battery back... I'm still thinking about it and don't really know what to do... I think if would be clearer about their plans in the future then we wouldn't be doubting them...

The T68m rulez in design full stop, The t68m is the best phone available today, and the firmware upgrade will enhance the phone. I think the T68i looks a bit Fisher Price not exactly cutting edge like the Ericsson T68m. Just be thankfull you have the last ever phone that Ericsson made. |

I thought that I read somewhere besides the software difference, the T68i is supposed to have a brighter screen than our T68m. The first batch of pix posted here - Esato - had a pix of the 2 phones side by side; but the T68i phone's screen is brighter. If that is the case, the T68i has a bigger edge over our "m" version.
Nevertheless, baby blue sucks to me. I'd prefer the lunar grey any time. Also, the "3 stripes" design above the screen is, IMHO, more cool than the new "squarish" design in the "i". The latter looks, what can I say.... more like a toy.
Just my 2 cents worth... |

This is what I have heard and read from different sources on the internet that would compel someone to upgrade:
T68i:
Brighter screen
Faster menus/T9 (Hardware improvements)
Yes/No keys are built better
Backlit Keys are lit better
More memory
Better Receiption for 1900 band (Hardware improvements)
These is all unfounded until they release the actual phone.
Time will tell.... |
