What is the biggest phone you ever had?

mine was an ericsson gh 197 "hotline"
pretty big i guess!! it gave backpain if you
had it in your pocket!! you nearly needed a kontraweight in the other if you shouldnt tip sideways.. hehe

Didn't anyone have the Motorola "brick", the first "portable" cellhpone?

I did, somewhere around 1988 I think it was. I still have it in storage, and it was funny comaparing it to the T68. I wonder what the next 14 years will bring us.

Mine was the 5110. I really do miss changing the covers, shame you can't do it on the T68. But at the end of the day the T68 rules!

We had two of the Motorola 'bricks' where I work when I started in 1993. They were analogue, weighed a ton, and you couldn't get a signal most places outside Cambridge itself!

Still the phone box in the lead, though...

For you "newbies", the Motorola brick -- the biggest fully portable cellphone
ever (I think).


For size comparison, I would say the T68 come up to maybe a little higher
than the line of buttons
