just go my mobile bill 2day and have been charged £11/mb for wap use on orange uk. phoned operator and they said that this was correct because i cancelled the access pack and was not on pay as u go. i was under the impression that if u did not have a pre pay bundle that u just payed for gprs/wap as u used it. the person said i had no package but was able 2 use gprs if need and would not refund and charge me the £3 as stated in the tariff guide. please someone say this is rubbish 11/mb seems a tad steep. |

If you did not have a Access Pack or GPRS Bundle then you should have been billed at £3 per megabyte.
The only reason you should be charged at £10+ per m/b is if you were using GPRS whilst you were abroad.
Call again and speak to 152 about the charges they should agree to recalculate them.

U were charged £10 mb because whoever removed the accespack didnt put on the payu gprs-u should b credited the difference
