T68 bug with T-D1 network? unable to display my number. |

Hi all,
I have a t68 (R1B) connected to Deutsche Telekom (T-D1)operator.
Whenever I make a phone call to another mobile phone my number doesn't seem to reveal itself to the other person's mobile?
I attempted to configure my phone to display my number:
Menu->Calls->Next Call->with the options 'show my number'/'hide my number'.
But for some odd reason, I am unable to select either one of those options?!
However, it works when I select a contact:
Option key->'Show my number'
Which is pretty annoying having to select that option everytime!
Any ideas why?
It's incredibly annoying! and I'm at the verge of going back to NOKIA.

I have the same problem in Norway with Norwegian Telecom (Telenor). This is a phone problem I think.
Hope there is someone out there who have a workaround. |

Check with the D1 Service (2202 or +491803302202) that CLIR is by default ENabled - then you have to disable it to HIDE your number.
Stupid Ericsson doesn't offer that as a permanent setting - Nokia's do. In fact, they insert the "*#xx#" code before the number they dial.
You can insert those codes before certain numbers in your phone book, but then it leads to an error when you choose them for sending SMS messages.
