It's not possible with the P800. And I don't know of any program that allows you to do this. This has been discussed before, so you can search Esato for the old threads.

Correct... and also, I think SE really didn't like the idea of recording calls due to legal concerns.

how come my last phone, Sony Z5, this was able to record short conversations.

It was useful to be able to re-listern to eg someone giving direction over a call.

The other feature the Sony Z5 was that the voice memo was able to record a separate answering message for different individuals. This was useful for the answering the misses.

The Sony Z5 is and old phone now, but I had it for long time cos it served me well. SE should incorporated these features as well.

I hope this phone will last as long as my Z5

Is the ability to record an active call also unavailable on the T610, and even the Z1010 for that matter? Like clks500, I found it to be very useful and had used it quite a bit on my T68i.

A very good idea if it works......

Maybe SE are planning it for the future.

yeah i discovered that P800 can't record phone calls! when i got my P800 i assumed taht this function from the T68 will be carried over, the P800 being a high-end model. alas... it is not there.

Just wait for an app to be made so u can record conversations, its not in the phone because in some countrys its illegal to record phone conversations.
