Is this possible or is there a app available to make it possible?? Most of my friends have 7210's/7250's and i though it would save them a bit of money if i could send some to them. Cheers |

Don't think it is possible via SMS, but definitely via MMS. Just attach it and it should send it to them and they should be able to save it. But then again Nokia uses .mmf format polyphonic ring signals and SE uses .mid. Not sure if it'll b compatible, but give it a try. |

Hmm i'll try, though sms sending would have been better as i have 300 free a month! does anyone know if there is a .mmf to .mid converter out there? Thats probably why i couldn't send it to him via infa red either.
P.s my overlay plus came through the post an hour ago - it is WONDERFULL! |

Sending polyphonic tones via sms is not possible But ofcourse is possible through MMS . I hope your network supports it !

There are .mmf to .mid converters. I have seen them, just don't know where right now. I'm sure if you search in the forum you'll be able to find some threads where they talk about which ones are the best. That is the quickest way, or just Google it. |

Most newer Nokias support MIDs as well tho.
I had a 6100 for one day before throwing it back for being the same as my 6210 (but with a colour display) and it definitely handled MID files with ease. |
