I was under the impression that the P800 had no external memory capabilities
.. any CeBIT visitors can help confirm/deny this quote from mobile.burn.com??
Regarding the P800:
.....Sadly, it appears to make use of Sony's proprietary Memory Stick
flash format. This was to be expected, but is a major disappointment none the
less considering that SD/MMC is as capable, smaller, cheaper, and more widely
used.....

I never saw a memory stick gate when I looked at it on the web! I think that the only memory it got is internal

I think SE would've hyped it alot if P800 had an external memory media. There's no mention of it anywhere = no memory card.

You would think that -- anyway, I have been looking at that 3d animation on the web up close, all around, and, altough I see a couple of things I am not sure of what they are (one looks like IR), the don't look "memory stickable"...

I was to CeBIT, and got a good look at the new SonyEricsson phones. I like the P800. I think I would prefer it over the Nokia 7650.
I can tell you that it has Bluetooth and Infrared, but it does not have any slots for Memory Stick, MMC cards or any removable media. |

It has IR? Thats good news, cause they dont mention it at all on their site.
And I didnt found anything that looked like an 'IR-eye' when checking out the 3D model.
