T610 Vodafone lock unbreakable? |

I talked to my Vodafone provider today and asked if they could unlock my new T610 to get the SE icons but they said that it is impossible and that the Vodafone stuff is hardcoded in the phone and that it is not possible to get red of it. Is this really true?? Has anyone been able to unlock their T610 ? |

I'm not sure, but i assume that u would have to flash both memory chips with non-customized soft. Thats how people used to deal with customized t68i's. |

Customization is on other flash chip than the firmware one, the chip contains customization + phone calibration (battery, possibly GSM part)... when erasing customization this calibration is void - you can decrease the battery uptime or worse... i don't think it's worth it... i haven't seen voda customization but i own T610 from T-Mobile and i'm getting used to live with it  |

Go to http://www.dvds2000.co.uk they can flash the Voda live for 15 quid

I had a Vodafone Live phone, and I have had the firmware flashed so that I now get the SE icons. It looks sooooooooooo much better. So yes, it can be done.

I just bought a T610 but i dont want it on T-Mobile has ne1 got any software or knows of anywhere that i can get my fone done so it can use different sim cards. i would be most grateful. |
