I found a store that sells 128mb mmc cards made by Sandisk.

http://www.upgradenation.com/san12retpacm1.html

It has the ericsson HPM-10 listed on their partial compatibility list. But what exactly does that mean? I don't want to spend the money on a mmc card that costs about 3x the price of a 64mb card if it is only 'partially compatible.'

There should be no reason why the HPM-10 should be able to read a card of any size. The only reason I'm interested in a 128mb card is because I have some albums and liveset of electronic music that are one file.

Anyone have any input? I have emailed ericsson to see what they say and am currently waiting a response.

i think partial in this case means that there could be more devices they would work on...

I also found that Digi camera cards work with the MP3 player. You have to stick some card to the top of it first though so it fits. Arent SD's cheaper than MMCs?

$159.99 for 128MB MMC card ?

Should be a lot less than that, try more like $100

e.g.

I'd be interested to know if this works too, might buy one soon to try!

64 mb works well with the HPM-10 Mp3-player. I use mine every day with both 64 mb and 32 mb cards, they all work in the same way, no problems at all!

My 64mb did'nt work from the beguining! I had to download new drivers for the hpm10 at the SE-homepage, to make it work with my PC. No problem though.

I don't use the SE software at all when downloading music to my MMC-card, for that I have an USB MMC-card reader, which I got when I had my SL45i, which was reeeaaalllyyy slow at transfering mp3's. So my 64 mb card worked right out of the box!
