can't seem to find a way to switch a call to my Jabra BT200 in mid-call. seems that if I answer it on the handset, I can't switch it to the headset.

Is this possible? can someone help me with how?

Just press the button on the headset - works for me. My Bluetooth is permanantly ON btw, not automatic or anything. (doesn't drain my battery any faster, + works better in some situations).

If you've got it on auto and it won't transfer, try again with ON.

Yes, this works with the HBH-60 as well.... just press the button..

To transfer back to the phone, you have to press the option button on the phone, then select transfer call.

If the connection breaks without the call being transferd (battry dead).The phone will "evetually" detect it, but in my opinion it takes toooooo long, and woudl prolly make the other person think the call was cut off. So better to use the "option-> transfer"

My BT200 + P800 are very good about this - i can just wait until the BT200 battery dies, and before the 'turning off' tone has finished sounding in my ear, the phone display will come up with something like 'connection dropped - continue with call? yes/no'. Just have to hit 1 or OK on the keypad, pick up the phone and keep talking.

@AMalakani

as I say I swear i tried it in the past and it didn't work, but it's working now...

one thing I've read suggested that you have to go into the device settings for your BT device on the p800 and check the box that says "allow device to connect without confirmation" or something like that. It's in the Control panel, connections, Bluetooth - select the device and it pops up the window with that option.

mine (jabra freespeak) seems to work no matter if this is checked or not, but it may be worth a try.

When I checked the "Allowed to connect without.." and put the BT to Auto it didn't work.
It works fine only when the BT always ON, the option of connecting without confirmation is only when you pair the device for a second time so it will not ask you to enter the pass code again.
