Just a question to anyone who bought the Business Kit for the P800... the belt case it comes with... does it have a belt clip or a belt loop? I wanna know if I need to remove my belt to put the thing on or take it off, or does it just clip on? Thanks!

The answer: belt clip.

You don't have to take off your belt nor pants to put this baby on...

Sadly the clip design combined with the bulk of the case means it often catches on things and just falls right off your belt.

The good news is that the bulky case does protect the phone very well from falling to the ground.

YMMV of course...

Do any of you know where I can get a belt holster for the p800, that holds the phone horizontally (like the business pack does) but that doesn't come with the extra shit that we got when we first purchased the phone? I really don't like the idea of paying for another gay wrist strap or 3 more stilli.

Thanks

I read that one of these cases, not sure if it is Krussel, that the phone tend to rotate vertically. It has a poor mechanism that will not lock the phone horizontally in place. Is this the case with this horizontal Krussel product?

LastQuark,

I think you're referring to the belt clips that swivel, and have to be turned at a 90 degree angle to be removed.

The clip that I saw at the site Jah recommended doesn't swivel, it locks it in place. I'm going to buy it, and I'll let you all know how it works out (as a second opinion).

I'm thinking of buying the horizontal krussel case but have concerns over the multidapt belt clip system. Can any owners confirm/deny my concerns??

I use my p800 without the flip (it broke - has anyone else's?) and i want a horizontal case - the krussel looks to be a nice fit, good qulity and fairly cheap. However one of my main reasons for this type of case is so that i can have the screen facing inwards and as such benefit from greater protection (having broken my digital camera's screen i'm getting highly paranoid of walking screen first into the corner of a table).

If the screen is facing inwards it will be pushing against the mutidapt clip system - does anyone who own's one/has seen these cases think that this clip can damage the screen?

Also can anyone make any recomendations of what clip to use with the case - there seems to be so many available.

Cheers

The IBK-20 kit that you can get, the case in this kit holds the phone very well, and holds it with the screen facing inwards. I have the normal Krussel case, and do not like it at all. The case is far too tight on the phone, it is hard to take the phone in and out all the time, and as it spends all day being put in and out of both the case and a car kit, this feature is important to me. This is why I recomend the IBK-20 kit. I know you get the spare styli and the headphones, but they may come in useful at some time, so just get this kit, it is worth it.

Does anyone know if the horisontal case can be bought individually? It looks rather nice but I haven't seen it for sale anywhere so far

Not seen it for sale seperatly and it is not for sale on their web site as a seperate item. Got mine for £15 form phones4u. This was another bad dealing with them, as they had it for sale in the shop with a price tag of £9.99, but when I went to pay for it the lad said £29.99. I told him it had £9.99 on it, and he said someone must have put the wrong price tag on it. Fortunatly the shop was full at the time so a little rant and the price was negotiated to £15.

@volvoman

UK consumer law states that goods MUST be sold at the advertised price - my wife is a genius at getting cheap stuff this way!!

I know, I got a camera last year from Dixons, It was one of those zoom aps things. It had a price of £34 on the box but when I got to the counter it came up as £120. The chap said that as it was priced on the box as £34 he had to sell it at that price, but went to see if any others were the same. There were about 10 on the shelf and all were at the wrong price, so he took all of them of the shelf to re price them. As for phones4u I think with them it is a con to try and attract more customers. Most of the time you walk past my local shop, they are all sat around with no customers. I just happened to go in while my wife was clothes shopping and saw it. I could of made more of a fuss but they could of just refused to sell it to me and had to pay full price somewhere else. Having said that, there is nowhere else localy selling it. Ohh and the camera was a Kodak and is now for sale, as I have a Sony digital one now. The camera has hardly been used, took about three films on holiday last year. Got back and bought a HP digi cam and have just bought the Sony one as it cmae with a free 64mb memory stick as well as the 16mb that comes with it. It is the P52 and set me back £200.
