i just cant download applications straight to my p800 using gprs wap! i click on the link and it just says requested object not found or some other excuse. im using the default browser cos i cant get opera to work, am i just stupid or is there something really important im missing? |

don't know about downloading with the internal browser but i would strongly recommend you to go on opera.its better than best.try it

yea ive actually installed opera but cant get it to work. if i try to open a page, it connects then just hangs at 1K.
how do i get it to work?

If you're on Orange like me, in the last few weeks the GPRS Wap APN has not allowed downloading files at all (apart from zip files occasionally). Just gives error 'no acceptable' or something >_< .

im on vodafone in new zealand. i was on vodafone when i was in the uk a few weeks ago, and had the same problem. not acceptable or object not found or requested entity too large or other annoying refusal. i cant view any streaming video either. is it my software or is it the server? what is my problem with opera? why wont it work? it just wont load any pages, it says dns not found. i keep reading these threads where people are downloading all these cool applications and videos and mp3s, then i click on the link and get denied. its not fair!! can someone help? i feel so left out.......
