[note this post is in the technical forum aswell]

I'm just wondering if there is a simple way of opening a T28s case? or do i have to get the "opening tools kit"? any help would be VERY greatly appreciated.

---------
Background: I have 2 broken T28s and i wanna put the parts together to make one working fone. (one of them has a broke screen + case and the other has a broken mike - dont tell me to switch the flip thingie its not the thing thats broke)

I can ask a friend at work later on today, he often repairs "older" Ericsson, I dont think he uses any special tools.
But IŽll ask him first thing at work!

Just take 2 sharp "things". I prefer to use "window razor blades" to bend up the front-sides. This is to lift up the sides of the front from the main body.

Then take a third "window razor blade" to lift up the top of the front and bend it off from the main body.

It is just as simple as that! =o)

Good luck!

Just spoked to him.
He first pulls the antenna, then carefully bends it apart from side to side.
Good Luck
