This is first time I am at this forum, and alredy feel comfortable to post a question .

The problem is:
Received SMS messages need to be convertet into .txt format as simple as it possible.
If I get SMS on my mobile phone, I need to transfer it on a computer then get it in .txt format.
The question is:
What equipment (which mobile phone) I have to use? Siemens S45 has this functionality, but there is to many clickings to finaly get message in wanted form on my computer (for exam. message first need to be added to archive than it is visible on my computer desktop). This has to go automaticly, as messages are coming (by IR port, or serial whatever) they suppose to be converted in .txt and added to the folder on my computer.

Please help,

Nedzad, Tuzla.

What phone are you using?
I guess that FMA would be a good place to start.

I downloaded FMA, and as I could see ( I have no SE T68i), by this way is possible to convert received SMS messages to .txt format, but same problem still remains .
I can not test it ( too many clickings is not acceptable).
If somebody have this phone, I would realy be very thankfull if he/she tries for me. Received SMS message he/she has to get on the computer desktop in .txt format, using FMA software and SE T68i. How much steps are required to do that?

Thanks phil.

well the text messages get placed into a .dat file so it would be a imple process of writing some kind of script to extract the data and convert it into a .txt file.

Regards,

Phil.

(p.s. you do not have to have a t68i to use FMA, it works with many other phones.)
