I bought my SE T610 today, at Telebutikken in Norway. I'm happily married now  Finally I got that marvelous phone!
I must be the first one in Norway getting it, hehe.
Things I don't like about it is: Same phonebook as the T68, you can't write more then 1 letter when searching in the phonebook, Just the first letter. And you can not choose "Send SMS too" after clicking on a phonebookentry (that's bad) . It's small complaints, I know that. Besides that, I absolutely love it!

I can type more than one letter when searching my T610s phonebook and it works fine. Am I misunderstanding what you mean ??
*EDIT* - I see what you mean now..I thought you meant when you get the "Find" screen with the magnifying glass. You mean when you push the joystick down to get into the phonebook and you then want to get to a contact from there quickly.
As for the "Send SMS" button from a contact, its only useful if thats the way you're used to working. Myself, I find that the left push of the joystick to create a new SMS works well for me.

I find the SMS too -feature usefull sometimes, but hey, it's not a very big problem. It's very easy just clicking left on the joystick too, so I just shouldn't complain.
What I meant about the one-letter-thing is when you press the joystick down to show the phonebook. Then, when you are pressing a letter to search, you can only press one. Not 2 or more. Understand? You can only press one letter there too, right? |
