Does anyone know if it's possible to just buy this phone right off? Does anyone own one? Is it good, anywhere near a T610 contender?

I know someone who owns one and it crashes ALL THE TIME. Even when he was just trying to enter a contact. And I have read stuff from other people saying it is not very stable.

im long waiting for the t610 here in PI when the smart amazing phone (aka SPVx in Orange) comes...it also has a 64k coloured screen...i think the plus points of the SPV are the bigger memory, the html browser, very easy syncing when using a pc, and a lot of programs available...and coming...it doesn't have bluetooth (still have my t68), a bit slow (especially the cam), huge and heavy

i think one problem with the t610 is the memory...2mb is so small for a feature pack fone...with my SPV im still looking for bigger memory since my 128 MB can't handle everything i want to put into it...i can't imagine 2 MB in a very good phone like the t610...i don't know i haven't used a t610 yet...

I have one, it does have all the features, but using it is painful, constantly crashes, menus don't respond so you clik and clik then everything happens at once, but it does have mmc slot, video play/stream, mines unlocked as well, you can do it for free yourself.
If you are listening to mp3 and a call comes in, the music doesnt start again, you have to select media player start, what a pain. screen is very good, loudspeaker is VERY loud, you can listen to mp3's like it is a radio. It is a giant leap up from normal phones in flexibility, but it's still microshite OS. Camera is poor, you can only take a pic by compiling an mms message, though they have upgraded software to fix that, that upgrade is a must. If you are a feature hungry geek, you'll like it, if you want a reliable easy to use phone, forget it.
