What settings do most users have for e-mail.
Automatic dial in every hour or so, or daily......?
Also do most users stay perminently connected to GPRS or just use the internet when required?
thanks

I use dial-up on wap for surfing on my :se: P800! GPRS is too expensive for me and on the other hand, my price plan covers wap calls as well.

For me dial-up would cost ALOT more than gprs.
It checks for emails at 09:00 , 15:00 , 17:00 everyday.

Having it permanently connected would be a waste of battery I think...

thanks for your replies

I think 9, 3 and 5.00pm is probably best because if it is hourly maybe it would use too much battery.
Also I would be woken in the middle of the night with my new mail wav

701 if you are connected o GPRS 24 7 how long does your battery last between charges ?
