carphone are authorised repairers for SE so they will charge you the RRP. your better finding third party repairers if you want it cheaper but the replacement might not come with any come back on the people who do it for you and might not even be as good!!
Stick with Carphone!! At least you can have some come back if it goes wrong! |

Cheers for the response ppl..........
I went to a third party repair centre the other day and they told me not to get the case replaced but call up O2 and say the phone isn't working?! The salesman said I could try and claim a new phone on the warranty by saying its dropping calls and turning off etc!
This wouldn't really work would it? |

Actually it might work as the casing contains a lot of parts and antena related issues!give it a shot as no1 will test ur phone for 3days to see whats going on!

Hi guys
I work for a mobile phone company and what will happen is that it will go to the manufacturer who will test and repair any fault found with it.
If they find a fault and cant repair it, they will replace it.
Sorry to be the bearer of bad news!
Other option is that if u have insurance then you could smash it up and claim on that! Will have to pay an excess but will be cheaper!! |

Thats what I'm hoping for......a new p800. But will they replace it if I say there is a fault (e.g. dropping calls) and they can't find the fault. Will they not just send it back? |

if they cant find a fault then they will send it back with a test sheet saying "NO FAULT FOUND" which means that if there is no fault with it then they will not do anything |
