Hi Everyone,

I have had a p800 for a couple of months now. Recently mac OS X updted to allow bluetooth file transfer. I seem to have to problems when trying to transfer Audio from the mac - p800

1) the phone is telling mac OS X that it does not accept files of this type (mp3). It does however ask if the file should be sent regardless of this, to which I choose yes.

2) secondly, the phone memory is quite small in relation to storing audio so I use a 28 memory stick duo, however I cannot find a way of directing the mp3 file directly to the memory stick instead of the phones memory. The result of this is that the transfer often halts halfway through sating that there is a problem or that the phone is out of storage.

Am I expected to transfer the files from the phone memory (1 at a time) over to to the memory card, and if so how, particularly as some files are quite large and will take up the phones memory before they can be moved.

If there is anyone who can help on this I would be most gratetful. I do not think it is necessarily a mac problem just an issue of how to direct the file to the correct storage area.

Thanks

I have your first problem when I transfer files (usually jpg's) from my Mac (OS 10.2.6) to my T610. I always get the message, "Target device will not accept a file of this type." It gives the option to try sending it anyway, however, and it ends up working fine. Not a big deal, just one extra click, but annoying.
