Just called Customer Support, and asked the guy who answered when the MMS upgrade will be available. He sounded annoyed, but said that it was planned to be released in "end of March", and I also asked him if he knew what r-state new SW would be, if its supposed to be R1A. He didnt know for sure - just that it wouldnt be R1A!

Why dont some of you call this number shown below and check what answer you gets when you ask the same questions? Phone terror?
Yepp it might look like it

The Chief Executive(?) of ericsson answers Questions of the plans of the company.

One question is about the release of the MMS-upgrade.
"End of march" ... interesting.
I think that the software engineers of Ericsson is chasing bugs!
I do believe that it is for our sake that it is taking all this time!

P.s the interview is in swedish... sorry

Anyone who has any experience with software engineering know that it takes tremendous amount of time. ( especially when some of the working staff is fired )
I only want it to be finished when its finished.
Ok it is not very funny to sit and wait for all the nice cool functions.
But...
We do have functions to wait for
And when we do get them... they will work the first time we show them to harry nokia.

@Charly
You’re right... It can take a lot of time before a software will run without bugs...
Especially if you’re a software engineer by Ericsson !! Just look at the mess they did with the predictive text T9 !!! This part is already developed by the company Tegic and by Ericsson, they are not even able to use it properly in a phone !!! What’s a shame...
In my point of view, with the totally incompetent software engineer they use at Ericsson, we are definitely not close to have a software without bugs...
Anyway, I’m using my T68 since November last year... and it’s about time to change it again... and the next will definitely not be an Ericsson nor a Sony-Ericsson... (maybe, if we don’t have to wait till September... I’ll have the chance to test a little bit the MMS software...?!?)
