Have you tried IM+ ?
it can connect to all of the chat networks, but I haven't tried it, so I don't know if it's what you're looking for...
you can get it from Handango, but it's not free

IM+ crashes if you have too many contacts in your list. It is a poorly written program and I'm glad I didn't pay $30 for it to find out it doesn't work.
MyBuddies is a great program but only works for ICQ, and there is an MSN Java client that is good too.. I haven't found anything for Y! or AIM unfortunately yet =\

I suggest TipicME from www.tipic.com it may not look as cute as 12Planet or IM+ but I like the way it works... it's pretty reliable as well... you just have to register on their website... they become a proxy to your IMs.  |
