I've set up PC Control on my home PC with a cable and it works great. At work using Bluetooth though, I intially get a connection, but it seems to drop straight away. The notes say that the serial cable connection must be set to 115,200. How do I check the connection rate on my COM3 bluetooth connection? I'm using Windows XP by the way.
Cheers,
Lee

In the device manager, doubleclick the com port. Choose "Port settings" tab, then press the "advanced settings" button. You will find it there... |

Thanks for the reply. On Windows XP when I select properties on the bluetooth port, I only get a General tab, and a driver tab. There are no advanced buttons, and no options to view port settings?? When I select properties on COM1 and COM2 (I have a desktop PC), the port settings are there as expected. Does the bluetooth serial port only run at one speed, and is that 115200?
Thanks,
Lee

I believe that you have to set it up so that you are not limited by the default speed of 9600 | |
