I tried to connect to Internet with Rogers and I failed so far. I used the info given (server address: goam.com, userid: wapuser1, password: wap) for the Internet account. For the WAP account I used the same Rogers acount. I did not put anything on proxy server configuration because I do not have the info.
Whan I try to connect, I receive "error 519, web server cannot be found, check the location and try again".
Can someone please help me?

I just got this all working last week. It wasn't trivial, since most of the Rogers people have no clue.

First of all, you want to make sure you are on a "Data Access Plan". The standard data plan only allows WAP viewing and you want the good stuff. You can find them under the Business data plans on their site. Beware that the standard Rogers phone staff doesn't know much about this, but persist. Don't let them sell you the Desktop plan, cause it's useless to me.

Secondly, once you have the plan setup, you have to configure a second connection in the phone. I create a WAP connection (using the GOAN.com server), and then a WEB connection (using the INTERNET.com server). The rep that sells you the plan can hook you up with a tech support for data specialist, but you might have to push a bit to get them.

Note that they just got docs on the P800 in the support center last week. The first time I called, they had nothing and had no clue. The last time I called, their system had a config guide to coach them through it.

Any more questions, feel free to private msg me.
