I've just had to give back the T66 I've borrowed for the past couple of weeks... its an absolutely fantastic phone. Excellent build quality, sound quality is second to none, and the menus, and particularly T9, is the fastest input I've seen, faster than Nokia by a margin.

Ideally, I'd have both a T68 and a T66, where I'd use the T66 for text and for making calls in my spare time - its a great poser's phone because of its size - and then have the T68 for using the Data functions, like GPRS, or for Bluetooth , or for WAP browsing in colour.

Any of the rest of you got opinions on the T66? I've fallen in love with it... and can't afford to go and buy one Maybe I can borrow it again

I know what you mean, the T66 is cool cos of its size. But after T68, a non-colour screen looks retarded
The options on the T66 are pretty basic aren't they? I think it's expensive for what it is. It's 410$ here and the T68 is only 400$...

Its about £220 here, sim-free. Its missing GPRS, colour screen, and Bluetooth. I wouldn't look twice at it if it wasn't such a pleasure to use.

I think you've all misunderstood me. The idea is that you would have both the T66 and T68 - the T66 when you want a mini-phone just for texting or calls, and the T68 for when you want a colour phone.

I like the T66 alot, but once I got used to color, its hard to go back to greyscales. And I do not want to have two phones, have enough stuff as it is, just want one phone that does it all!!
Sony Ericsson stuff I use:
W880i | HBH-DS970 | HCB-300 | CDS-60
