Hiya gang,
Does anyone know the cheapest price I can pick up a p800 for?
I'm currently midway through a contract so an upgrade is not an option. I can get it on o2 staff for £350 + 12 months subscription, can it be found cheaper anywhere?

If u r quick enough 2 get 2 your nearest P4U shop + they have one u can get P800 4 nothing. Need 2 get there by the end of business Thursday though (5th June 2003).
Get it FREE on Voda 500 min + 100 txt = £66 p/m , but hold on it is not that that bad as there is a 3 mths 1/2 price line rental (first 3 mths) and obviously 3 mths down the road - . . . change the tariff mate . Soooooo U get P800 for £102 (for those who noticed the £3 extra is for some addmin charge). COOL ?
C u all - - I wish

Not clever to do the calculation based on changing the tarif after 3 months, something that is not always guarenteed to work, also how did you get the £99 + £3 admin total ????? you are assuming that there is a FREE tarif available for the remaining 9 months of the contract, in fact your post reads just like most of P4U's "offers". in fact you have left of a MINIMUM of £150 for those 9 months, & as voda is a rubbish service, the inclusive minutes on the sim are worthless.
So to sum up, your ad should read:
Get a phone for £693 with a POSSIBILLITY of reducing after 3 or 4 months (sometimes they insist on 4mnths) if you are allowed to change then your gonna pay around £250 for the phone with a useless Voda sim.
Its cheap, but not as good as you tried to make it sound, fancy trying to make gullable people rush to a P4U shop by closing time tommorow, SHAME ON YOU !

nice one pachy.
but you forgot to mention you would be stuck on singlepoint, with their wealth of customer (couldn't) care (less) expertise. also, trying to get off singlepoint at the end of your contract is no easy job either.

I take it blackcat you too have been on the wrong end of singlepoint too. I had the unfortunate experience to be on there customer list too. Got a Nokia 6510 free and this is not long after they came out. Got the phone and charged it up, switched it on, and the signal was crap. Now in my house Orange is OK but voda is normaly brilliant. Not with the 6510. Rang singlepoint and they said tell the people I got it from, now the back and forward bit between the two firms and after about two months of a battle I gave up. There is only so much you can take. So to sum up I got a twelve month contract, a faulty phone no one wanted to sort, including Nokia as it was to new to swap so they sent it away and it came back even worse. They offered to send it away again and naturaly I declined. I had 6 sim card swaps to try to sort it out, including one thet sent me with no gold part on it just a blank piece of plastic, no use to anyone. So my twelve months comes around and I send in my request to disconect. No reply so I ring them up and they say they have no record of this, send in another letter. same thing again. Send in a third letter, same again. So I rang them up explained I was getting a letter sent out and had requested proof of sending and receiving the letter and that a response from them was needed or it was going in the hands of my soliciter. Supprise supprise I got a response from them. Then followed a three week bombard from them wanting me to stay with them. On the last occasion I explained that if another person from singlepoint contacted me I would issue them with a court injunction to leave me along. Sorry for the long reply but enough is enough.

Well yes, Phones4U are terrible, Singlepoint (with its minimum charge per call) is an awfull company. but to be involved with both is just unimaginable,
@Andy P said earlier that 500 xnet calls & 120 texts a month was a good deal (i think he was being ironic anyway) but Voda signal & the customer service (not 24hrs ????) are a complete waste of time.its all about money, NOT about providing a service.
Phones4U are the double glazing salesmen of the phone in dustry. |
