I have just got my replacement phone from orange, after spilling coffee on it, and its r6a instead of the r2a which most ppl i know on orange have . I had a nightmare trying to get it updated, as there is no servicepoint near, and no phone shops seem to knwo there is newer s/w available. the onlyt question i have is this... i was told it would be a reconditioned phone, but it seems to be brand new, the joystick counter was at 15, is there anyway this would have been reset when the phone was re-conditioned? or does this mean it is brand new? | |

Check the label under the battery for the year & week of manufacture, for example 02w26 = 2002, week 26 (end of june), or 03w10 would be march 2003.
If it shows about a month or 2 old then its been in stock & is probable new. |
