I am trying to connect my computer (Win 2k)to a Lotus Notes mail server (Notes v 4.6) to sync my mails using my T39 as a modem. I have the latest upgrade in my phone and I have downloaded the neccesary drivers from Ericsson.
I have manged to connect, but directly after connection the phone disconnects. The error message in Notes is "the modem has no carrier". If I use Windows Dial-up connection to connect I can log into our mail server but then Notes can't find the server becuse this version of Notes needs it's own build-in dial-up system.
Enyone has a solution? Thanks

I have a similar problem, once modem dials the number, via Notes , no connection is made with the Notes server. Message: could not establish dialogue with remote system.
I'm using the scripts available at sonyericsson, and suspect the problem comes from this.
Any ideas ?

sonyericsson don't answer

Thanks

Hi Smegg!
I don't use Notes anymore so this issu is not a problem for me any longer. I was never able to find a solution. I have heard though, that Notes v4 is using the dial-up function built in in Windows.
