Is it worth bothering upgrading from R2D to R2F? It doesn't seem like 2 minutes ago since I upgraded to R2D.

I dont think that there is much difference at all. R2B was released for the US and England on the same day. It contains phone R2D for the US and phone R2F for England.

Thanks. I heard rumour that R2D onwards would give users access to the bootstrap via the USB so that future upgrades could be downloaded and installed by oneself. Do you know if that's true?

i dont think so. mp3 to BT is limited by BT headset not phone/software.

I think primarily the function of BT headset is to receive the sound! and send back the sound through the mic. the mannual states that BT can be attacjed to any device whihc has the headset facility...and the function of a headset is to receive sound as well whether a call or music.
the Handset transfers sound when a call is made ...and i bet there would be some program which can transfer the music sound to BT.

I'm still using R1D - is it really worth bothering upgrading to the newest firmware? I've not been having any trouble with this one (only the odd crash).

Other than delivery reports (which would actually be useful) what are the other main advantages?

@ Pete95

Have you had any problems using GPRS with R1D.

My P800 (R1D) seems unable to connect to GPRS. When I click on the "Information" option, it shows:

"Connected to :"

and then nothing else.

Any idea ?

Check down with your local network operator, ask for the GPRS setting for your P800. It should work well on your P800. My local network operator usually will sent a configuration setting massage for the user. First Wap second follow by GPRS. It comes in 2 separate Massage.
