I have been given information that the larger 256mb Duo is soon to be released for the P800. SE originally give a release provisionally before the end of of 03 but the back end. The release will be summer 03 and will be a god send for my mp3 catalogue. A 1 Gig card is due by Christmas.

Plus with the soon to be released P800 "hipcam" recorder. P800 days are soon to get better!!

hipcam looks great! any news on its uiq-eta? :) would be the percfect partner for a large duo.. is there a 512mb duo coming also? that'd be best size.. 1024mb is way too expensive! whoever said it dont support >128mb: se will release new firmware! ;-) heh.. cheers, woz - *lookin forward to huge duo & hipcam*

P800 doesnt support larger than 128mg, that is the generaly accepted situation at present. i have seen no SE statement to say larger duo's could be used on p800 in future.

I have 128 MB MS DUO and I can say that this is enough. 60 MB is music, other are programs and games.
if i would have a 256 MB i would only have more music

@snw, after reading your post aimed at me i was tempted to ignore it, as i find you attitude rude.
But because others may be interested in my answer i am happy to point out that in MY P800 manual on page 185 under the heading
"Technical Data"
it says under "Additional storage";

"Memory Stick Duo, up to 128 Mbyte supported. 16 Mbyte Memory stick supplied,plus adaptor".

Maybe you have your networks own version of the manual, or maybe you are MISTAKEN & need to read your manual again. No offence
