- My current version of SW is R5C001, I would like to upgrade but before that... is it worth upgrading? can I upgrade by Bluetooth or it has to be done by a reseller? what is the latest version of SW? do I need any intermediary version?

Thanks for all answers..

No, it's impossible to upgrade the phone by yourself.

If you upgrade your phone you can use the MCA-25 zoom/effects. The R8A also adds 4 new games. The other improvements are small bugfixes (or unknown ).
But you'll lose the confortable SMS writing (special T9 function for capital writing)

Don't wait for the first bug-free Nokia phone; life's too short!

Just to correct you on a few things there.

It is possible to flash the phone yourself but it is highly unrecommended and not possible via bluetooth.

If you take your phone to your local service point then they will upgrade your phone for free (as long as it is within warranty) and normally only lasts a couple of hours max.

I would recommend updating the software, it will lead to a more stable, improved phone.

Phil.
