Hi, I need help, I have tried to use my P800 as a modem for my laptop, but I could not get the Phone connected to the laptop when I switch the phone as "modem mode" I get my phone connected with "PC connect" but as soon as I click on the "modem mode" the phone will lose connection right away. I have tried to dis/enable the COMs around, but still with no success......please help me out, any suggestions will be appreciated. Thanks

by the way, I'm using the cradle.

I've not spent a great deal of time trying to get this to work, but here's a couple of suggestions to check:

1. Does your provider actually support data on your phone? I know with Orange I had to request the data line capability to be enabled (this was free).
2. Have you correctly set up the modem within Windows. Once you set the phone to Modem and infra-red it should be detected automatically by Windows.

Once you've got the PC seeing the modem you can start diagnosing what the problem might be from there.
