I'm from the basque country (just behind England), and this summer I'm going to England so I need a "prepaid call card" for my unlocked mobile phone. With my actual card I can't phone. Can someone tell me about rates and prices? I only know that there are about five companies. Can I buy the card without phone in the shops?

Yes, you can buy cards from shops without phones - you'll need to ask for a SIM Pack.

There are actually six networks:

Fresh
Virgin
T-Mobile
Vodafone
Orange
O2

...and all their prices tend to vary. Give us some details on what you want from your tariff and we'll talk.

Well. I'll stay for two months, and I suppose that I'll make a lot of calls and SMS to Spain. I'm not interested in a contract, so I think that my option is "pay as you go"? I'm rigth? thanks

Well, I only know about o2 - here are details of our international bolt-on - to go on this you will need to buy a normal SIM.

Spain peak times - Landline 35ppm
- Mobile 60ppm

Spain other times - Landline 10ppm
- Mobile 35ppm

Peak times are 7:30am to 7:30pm, Monday to Friday.
