you can have it upgraded @ semicon/sess/smartnet (check their respective threads at the asia pacific corner. the 3  service ctr charge different fees from one another. |

I live in the u.s. and I'm having problems upgrading the firmare on my t68i. The people at att says they have no idea what I'm talking about. I ask them if i was able to use the phone with another service provider if i cancelled and was told no because the phone was locked. Does anyone here know if another service provider (like tmobile) will be able to unlock my att phone so I can use their service instead? |

Does anyone know if u are still limited to 300 characters per email, using the email client with the new firmware? Apart from the extra games that would be my main reason to upgrade from R7a013....

can you pls send me contact no. of smartnet? if semicon southmall doesnt have the euro version...im forced to go to smartnet...got r2bo25 version on my fon..this is too old huh? |

as i said, please check their respective threads in the asia pacific section. their addresses are indicated on the 1st page of each threads.
Semicon stores are all over metro manila. mostly on SM. Smartnet is located @ buendia/paseo de roxas. Sess is located @ herrera st. in makati. |

guamboy, ATT should unlock your phone after you complete your service agreement with them. If they don't, I think there are some people who will unlock it for a small fee while upgrading the firmware to the latest version. You may have to search around for that info. |

bump ,
jowi of bnc? question: I had my t68mc/ie upgraded at semicon podium to experience the zoom and effects function of the mca25 w/c i got that time. I asked them for the r7a and they said that my fone was a t68mc and they dont upgrade it but i said they've been upgrading at SM North for free t68mcs included based on the forum posts. She gets my fone back and after a while told me r6a instead will be the upgrade cause r7a doesnt seem compatible. They upgraded my unit to r6a and didnt charge me for it cause its just r6a - of course i was happy so i changed the keypads to the i version (no chinese characters).
To your knowledge, does this mean that i can go back there at semicon podium and have it upgraded to r8 version?

I've got a question
I've gaved my T310 to service point 'cause it hadn't been working properly...the malfunction was very big so they've decided to give me a new phone...but T310 aren't prudeced anymore...so they will give me T68i for exchange 
and here is the question - will I've my T68i already upgraded to R8A firmware???
I would be very pleased if someone would answer to me on my e-mail

Where can one recover this new version of the firmware ?
Can somebody also inform me about the manner of proceeding for the update (material required ?) ?
Is this version compatible with the French language ?
