Best thing to do is convert files into Ogg format urself-
Download convertor from http://www.dbpoweramp.com/ You'll need to download the codecs for Ogg format too. |

Just whack them across via the usb cradle!
Copy them into the documents folder either on ur duo or internal memory (because PC Suite does allow you copy Ogg format direct to the Audio folder)- then with Fileman or any other file browser put the .ogg files into the Audio folder. |

Guyz, why don't you use File Manager from Epocware on your PC... You can copy any file to any folder on your P800 with it!

@Dheeraj
Feel very stupid here but how/here can I download the codec?
I tried to use the converter you suggested but it seems I only have codecs for wav and mp3.
Thanks for any help!

Use WinMx, there's now an option for users to share OGG's in the file sharing settings.

I've done a lot of messin around with the OGG codecs and found the best by FAR is the OGG drop codec from www.vorbis.com the source files do have to be in wave though. So i use that Db Converter mentioned above to convert to Wav then select the ones i want and drop them into OGGDrop.
It isnt the most stable of programs I've found but if you lower the bit rate to its lowest e.g 54.0 the sound quality is superb for the size even on rock tracks which MP3's never sound good on. When you lower the bit rate to this on other voribs codecs i've found the quality unacceptable.
So far have 3 Albums aswell as loads of games and apps on the 128duo card with lots of room to spare where with mp3 as a good quality would never have managed this.. |
