Just got the IBK-20 kit (Case, stereo headset, 3 styli and wrist strap).
Anybody else got one? Notice that they put a hole for the headset to plug in at the bottom of the case?
So how do you start the audio player with the P800 snugly in the case and you can't remove it because the plugged in headset is fixing it in the case?
And you can't adjust the volume with the jog dial as it's 'facing downwards' and not accessible.
OR you can put the phone in the case with the audio point/jog dial uppermost, plug in the headset but then.... Oh Dear... you can't close the case flap 'cos the audio plug is sticking up???
What you have to do is start the audio player (through the speaker) slide the phone in the case (be careful not to touch any buttons because in this mode the keypad's not locked). Then push the headset jack into the phone through the hole in the bottom of the case and then slide the case onto your belt. If you want to stop or pause the player, reverse the whole damn procedure.
And if you want to change/select track....Tough.
Is it me or is this case design very, very stupid?

Had my p800 firmware upgraded last week and took the opportunity to checked out the IBK. It sure wasn't an impressive product to match that it was made for. On the same note, what's with the extra handsfree? No, really, I think i can find some use for 'em extra stylus but what should i do with the extra handsfree when that already came with the original p800 suite. Cmon, this looks like a job rushed, surely SE can ship a more attractive business bundle.. not to mention, put the phone pouch through some QC please.  | |
