I'm starting to get pretty fast at writing on my P800 using JotPro. I am definitely no where near the fastest out there, but I thought it would be interesting to see how fast the fastest people are. So I invite you all to compete in....
THE JOTPRO OLYMPICS!
The rules are pretty simple; just copy the following phrases exactly (including case and formatting) & time yourself (from first to last stroke) then post your times here. Sound like fun? There are 3 sections to test out different skills. Some people may find that slow & steady might win the race. Try your skills at 1, 2 or all 3. (I made the sentences pretty long so that everyones times aren't too similar)
LET THE GAMES BEGIN!!
1. Easy/Novice (Text): The Sony Ericsson P800 is a truely marvellous device that makes organising all aspects of your life extremely easy and gives you all the communication options you could ever need. It is the most COMPLETE mobile device in history.
]2. Medium (Numbers): The SE P800 makes the NOKIA 7650 and 3650 look simple. The T610 makes the 7250 look like a toy and the T68i will be remembered as the 1st SE phone.
3. Hard/Pro (Characters & Formatting) Meet ME @ 16:00, alright? Give me 30% of $10 & I'll give you ¾ of €9 ÷ £5. ™BóGUS JíMMY¡!

After going through the sentence a few times slowly I did Task #1 in 1:54. I guess I'm not too bad after all.
I spose it would be very easy for people to just lie, but they would only be cheating themselves.
I'm glad people are getting in on the fun. A little competition never hurt anyone.
Keep em coming. Quickest so far:
- Task #1: Me- 1:54
- Task #2: tr1xt3r- 1:18
Is anyone game to try #3?

Besides the internal P800 help file, does anyone know where can I find a file with all the characters JotPro can accept?
Thanks! |
