I can sync WM2 over BT or cable... I have a dummy connection as my default (This prevents any app from accessing the net without my knowledge) ... when you sync Worldmate, the little globe will appear... but no data will be transferred over since it's just a dummy... then after a few sec, the connection will be over your local internet access... then you have to 'disconnect' from the dummy GPRS account, then sync the currency the same way. |

@kaaspad , go to http://groups.yahoo.com/group/P800App/ --> click on Join This Group ( if u have a Yahoo account. If u don't, register at www.yahoo.com ) --> go to Apps --> then FullApps.htm and download both Worldmate V1.00 & V2.00 .. ( download V1.00 so that u would have the keygen, which can be used for V2.00 as well ..so that u wouldn't have to purchase the Worldmate software )

jplacson, this is exactly what i have done and still no luck. i have even remove the program and the system folder from the p800 c drive and then rebooted the phone and reinstalled the app as a demo and still no luck.
any more ideas?
EDIT - Update - I have tried updating the weather and currency via the cradle and all works fine using dummy gprs account. However, this is on my work system not on my laptop which i tried on last night.
Will take my cradle home tonight and try it on my laptop and see where the problem lies.
will post update later on tonight.
