Strange format in e-mails |
levo Joined: May 28, 2003 Posts: 4 PM |
Whenever I download my e-mail messages from the POP server, I see that the format is somewhat distorted and I get things like "$nbsp" in random places (i.e. inside a paragraph, at the end of line, etc...). However, the text appears perfectly when downloaded by Outlook as well as on the web site. Anybody got that?
I know that it is not a "language" problem since it happens for messages from the US, the UK, and other places. | |

$nbsp, or non-breaking space is HTML, I don't think the P800 e-mail client supports HTML e-mails, so it will just display it as text, hence all the crap you get in some e-mails.
People really shouldn't send e-mails in HTML format, it's just bad nettiquet
