Hello ,

Suddenly my P800 hanged , removed the battery , powered it on again , but it stops at the SonyEricssson logo screen .. doesnt continue booting !! and now my P800 is not working !!

Pls help !

It sounds like you let the internal memory fill up and not leaving anough space for it to boot up. The only solution is a master reset but if you cant turn the phone on then it is a trip to the service centre I am afraid.

this happend to me last night, I went straight to CPW to get it reflashed.. hopefully that will fix it!.. and it will hopefully come iwth extra features, e.g nightmode for camera

yep happened to me twice!!! only solution is to take it to a service center im afraid...

The R2D/R2F firmware apparently has taken care of this problem. Within the new firmware there is a file stored on the internal memory called slopfile.ini. It contains garbage data, and is created AFTER a successful bootup and deleted BEFORE powering off. Thus it always leaves enough space on the internal memory to overcome the bootup lock problem.
