I failed dismally and now it looks pretty bastardised. :'( Might try the cotton wool & nail varnish remover method next, maybe brasso? OK, just used the brasso "Metal Polish Wadding" and the dreaded logo is no more. Gently rubbed for about 5 minutes, seems to be no damage to the plastic at all. It'll probably turn green overnight! Oh, and its a bit shinier where I was rubbing.
