Guys, i have a question... i hvae the r1d on my p800 and of course everytime i take a pic, it does that fake sound... does anyone know where that sound file is located? so i could just delete it and never have to worry about others hearing me take pictures? i know that the r2d version has the option to mute it, but i am just not interested in upgrading my P just yet...

stick in the head set or buy a 2.5mm jack handsfree from the pound shop and just rip of the plug and slip it in when you want to take your *cough* private picures*cough* dirty old man lol

I would expect that the sound is 'built in' to the camera application, so it's not possible to change it/over write it, you're only option to remove it is to upgrade the firmware and turn it off.

i can see why he's annoyed if he says "and i know its fixed in the firmware update" yet he gets three replies saying "update your firmware" or cough....
It ain't possible I'm afraid mate as that file will be on the rom drive, if not hard-coded as suggested above.
