McAfee virus scan & P800 synchronization don't mix |

I have discovered that McAfeeVirusScan7.0 will prevent you from running PCSuiteForP800_rel_1.5.1_AE on WindowsXP, even if you disable the virus scan. The only solutions that I have found were to uninstall McAfee completely, or shut it down completely using msconfig. PCSuiteForP800 will work on Windows98 however with McAfee VirusScan7.0 installed.
I have notified both McAfee and SonyEricsson tech support, so stay tuned.

Actually the problem is not caused by viruscan itself. The firewall software is the one which causes the problem. Install normally the Viruscan suite and then go to control panel and select & remove the firewall. Then the p800 pc suite will work fine with Viruscan. However, firewall functions after that, will be unavailable . |

Are you sure that firewall is unistalled? The only McAfee componet left in you computer should be Viruscan. I did this and I have no problems at all. |

I only got the viruscan...
The weird thing is it used to work. My comp crashed
so I had to reinstall.
The only thing I can think of is that the previous install I installed
p800 then Mcafee, and now I installed Mcafee then p800....
