Switching on/off bluetooth |

Can anyone tell me if there is a way to switch on bluetooth without having to go into control panel, bluetooth, settings etc.. is ther any way the blue internet button can be re configured to switch on/off bluetooth..? Reason is, I use the P800 and HB-60 head set alot and find it a pain having to switch on/off bluetooth everytime i get in and out of the car. As you know leaving bluetooth on all day leaves the battery with not enough power to see you through the day..

The easiest way I have found so far is to use tracker or active desk. The first has a menu item, the second puts a shortcut on the screen. |

The only shortcut i can find is 'control panel' is it not possible to shortcut straight to bluetooth settings.. or better still to utilise any other button e.g. the blue internet button or cam button on the side of the handset to switch on/off bluetooth..? |

Control panel has shortcut in Active desk. In tracker you have a direct menu item bt. Skips 2 steps |

If you have the flip closed just hit the Options button, then "#" for Applications, then "0" for connections. Not really that quick but I've learned to live with it. |

Thanks for the help..
Having tried all the above i note that it still takes 7 steps to turn bluetooth on/off regardless of which method you use..? even with tracker.

With R2F here is how I've done it:
Flip closed:
1. scroll to Applications, select
2. dial '0' - zero & OK
3. Scroll to BlueTooth, select
4. Scroll to selection, select (or if I remember right, you can direct access option)
