I'm going to order a sim-free P800 this week, but |'m just a bit concerned about getting the latest firmware -R2D i think it is -.
I was wondering if it would be best to get the phone from Vodafone rather than from other online sales outlets. Is it easy to upgrade if I had an earlier firmware?

Upgrade is easy. Wack the phone in at a service point and they do it in half an hour.

Latest firmware is now R2F for the phone.
Just had P800 on T-Mobile updated.
Don't know what the differences between R2D & R2F are though. |
