t68i + DRS-11 How do i connect my fone to my pc |

hey guys....need help.. as mentioned, i have the t68i and the drs 11 cable. my problem is i cant seem to connect the two to my pc. can sum1 please post here, step by step, the procedure as to how i can transfer/upload themes into my fone via my cable. Like what softwares should i download? the Xtend software needs outlook, but my outlook is on and it doesnt work. The mobile pc connectivity software is just idle. Pls help me.... |

The mobile phone monitor software needs to detect the phone at the first time the phone connected. If not detected, you should check the setting and the com port. Xtend is just for sync with outlook. Get and install Send File from christersson.org for free. It can be used for sending themes to T68i.

hey wapt... thanks for replying...just to clarify...how & where do i check the settings? my fone settings or pc settings? so ur saying i just need the mobile pc connectivity ryt & no need for the xtend files? |

Hi Cush,
Once you installed the Mobile Phone Monitor for Ericsson/Sony Ericsson phones(Find it in the Communication Suite CD), it will automatically detect the model of phones connected to the COM port.
It defines the COM ports in the setting of Mobile Phone Monitor. Normally all the COM ports in your PC are set to be available. Check the serial ports setting firstly, and also make sure no other communication software occupies the ports.
If porblem still exists, it might be either the problem of PC COM port, OS, the cable or even the phone itself. You can try to check with another PC.
